Crohn's Disease


Crohn's Ulcer

This photo is an example of mild Crohn's disease of the colon. The arrow points to an ulcer of the right colon caused by Crohn's. These ulcers can cause symptoms of abdominal pain, rectal bleeding, and diarrhea. Treatment varies with each individual case, but usually involves drugs to heal inflammation such as Asacol and Prednisone.
