It's a good idea to have an up-to-date book on herbs, as more and more doctors are mentioning the use of certain herbs by their patients. It is very difficult, if not impossible, to find entries about herbs in medical dictionaries. In a pinch, you could call a friendly Pharmacist, as they are often well-versed on herbs for medicinal use.
