Medword's Herb List

Here is a listing of only some common herb names that may be useful in your transcription. It's a good idea to have an up-to-date book on herbs, as more and more doctors are mentioning the use of certain herbs by their patients. It is very difficult, if not impossible, to find entries about herbs in medical dictionaries. In a pinch, you could call a friendly Pharmacist, as they are often well-versed on herbs for medicinal use. We have a link at the bottom of this page to a list of herb books that you may want to review.
