INSERTION:	Lateral side of base of proximal phalanx of big toe and lateral sesamoid.
ACTION:	Adducts and flexes metatarsophalangeal joint of big toe. Supports transverse arch
NERVE:	Deep branch of lateral plantar nerve (S2, 3)
